I’ll start out by apologizing for the lame dressing room selfies, the light was just too good in here to pass up!
So honestly, I’m a casual kinda chick. I teach Pilates, I run around with my kids, I do projects around the house…and I want to be wearing stuff that I’m comfortable in. Dressing up is fun sometimes but I’m gonna keep it real for the day to day.
This is the outfit of today. These bangin moto leggings made by Alo. They literally might be the best “pants” I’ve ever put on my body! They’re bad ass right? comfortable, and can be layered with just about anything! Buy me more colors for Christmas 😉 Find them here: Alo moto leggings
I Love a classic neutral tee. This one has a little exta somethin’ with this faux knot in the front. Here it is: Twist front top
The flannel aroud my waist is from Lucky Brand. It’s one of the best things in my closet. Looks great here and I throw it on when it get’s a little chilly out. Black & white flannel
This denim jacket is one of my closet classics and has been in my “collection” for years. This baby will never get old. Throw it on top of any outfit for an extra kick. Mine is J.Crew: J.Crew denim jacket
The bag is new. I’d been looking for a slouchy, black, cross body bag for like the past year…YEAR people. Everything is so structured nowadays and I’m not into that kind of look for the everyday. So, alas… I found this baby at Saks. It’s Loeffler Randall, a brand that I’m not super familiar with but I immediately liked. It’s a cross body bucket bag and fulfills my every want and need (okay, I probably have many many more wants and needs but who’s counting). Get it here: LR Bucket bag
The army green lace up “weekend” thermal I tried on (and purchased…because, who are we kidding, was there ever any doubt?) It’s from Splendid…soft soft soft! (Side note…Splendid is a hidden gem for closet classics) The lace up detail in this shirt makes it interesting and I also dig the front pocket. Splendid is having a sale right now. 30% off your purchase! Whoop! Weekend lace-up hoodie
Last but certainly not least are the oxford shoes. They’re so boy meets girl, (Charlie has a pair too) and I get complements on them every single time I wear them. They’re timeless, chic and you won’t find a whole room of people wearing your exact same shoes (ahem Toms) They come in a million different colors. Go and get a pair for you or your guy. Cole Haan ZeroGrand
Hope this inspires you to get your comfort on… cute yet comfortable is a thing and I plan to take advantage.
Peace,
K
